This week I’m talking about a couple of mini DIY kits to include in your Operation Christmas Child boxes this year. Hold onto your mint and gum containers to pack with. What kid doesn’t love containers to put things in? Every one of my kids has always had a collection of bags or containers with random odds and ends in it.
I saved some Altoids and gum containers and left it up to my girls to decorate them. We used patterned Duck Tape to wrap the boxes to make it a little more fun. 
One of the boxes my girls made was a coloring box. We included some crayons (the pack of crayons you get from restaurants would be the perfect size). Then they cut some paper and stapled it together for a little coloring notebook. I let the girls take charge with these as it makes them even more involved in packing OCC boxes.

My family lives on a farm and I can’t imagine our home without our animals. We have chickens, horses, cats and two dogs. Both of our dogs were resuces and probably the sweetest pets you’ll ever meet.
