This year has been a bit of whirlwind for us, and looking back at almost 18 years of Merry Christmas posts on Southern Savers I’m a tad bit nostalgic for the little girls that were in our yearly pictures… Folk are growing up and I’m realizing more and more how blessed we have been (and are).
For all the moms barely holding it together: everyone is very right, it goes by too quickly. So hug your littles tight, play the family games, take the silly pictures, and try to enjoy them. Laundry can wait, leftovers are great dinner option, and turns out kids are more healthy if the house is a little messier!
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas filled with joy and peace. Here’s to a great 2026!!
