Because I had to end the Kroger giveaway early last week and not many got to enter, I thought we should do it again, just bigger and better this time.  Instead of one $30 gift card to Kroger, lets do (6) $50 gift cards to any Southern Savers store!

This is a giveaway with strings attached,  we would like the winners to report back with how much you saved.  Simple enough.  Don’t feel that you need to wow anyone just trying is good enough.

You have 3 ways to enter

Get one entry for each option, up to 3 entries:

      1.  Leave a comment with what store you do most of your grocery shopping at.

      2.  Twitter, or Facebook about this giveaway and leave a comment that you did.

      3.  Follow Southern Savers on Twitter, Facebook, or in your email/reader and leave a comment (if you are already following leave a comment saying that).

A while back (think June) we had a giveaway for $50 to any Southern Savers store of your choice.  The only catch was that you had to report back.  Well,  I’ve had their results for a while but never found the time to share.

These gals make me feel proud.  I love seeing how far you stretched that $50!!

Juliett from South Carolina – choose Publix, over 4 different trips her totals were:

        Retail Value: $274.53
        Total out of pocket: $53.36
        Total Saved: $221.17
Not too bad for a complete Newbie…thanks to your site alone as I do not receive the paper!!
Sara from Alabama- choose Publix, in one trip her totals were:

        Total saved:  $99.30
        Total spent:  $48.35
        Total before coupons/sales: $147.65
        Total spent:  $48.35
        Total saved:  $99.30 or 67%
What a blessing was this gift card!  Even though I lost my coupon box about a month ago, thanks so several printables and some help from Southern Savers, I was very excited about the total saved!

Unilever has just launched a new e coupon site with a ton of coupons that good at Kroger and Kroger Family stores. They are all good through 10/18. I expect this to be a onetime offer like the Bringing Hope eCoupons. I also expect there to be a pretty nice Unilever mega event, (not necessarily next week), but before these expire so, unless you need any of the items now I would hold off for a little bit and plan to use them later.

There are also new eCoupons on site for Smithfield meats!  There are 6 different coupons from .55/1 to $1 off various Smithfiled products.  They all expire at the end of August.

Remember that your card can only hold 50 eCoupons so load only what you will use for now and use most of your coupon spaces for the eCoupons that will expire sooner, like Cellfire.

                  (Thanks Amanda & Ronald!!)
