I often get questions about online survey sites and here is a good one that is currently accepting applications.  PineCone Research is an online survey site that pays $3-$5 per survey.  Each survey is supposed to take 15-20 minutes.  You’ll also be automatically entered into bi-weekly sweepstakes for a chance to win even more cash.

I have not personally used the site (just got registered today), but I have heard good reviews from others.  This is one of the more exclusive survey sites that seeks specific age ranges and other attributes when they are looking for applicants.  So, if you don’t get in this time try again later.

I’ve been a member for years and can vouch they are legit and pay quickly.

I LOVE Pinecone!!! I have been a member for a little over 2 years now, and have consistently received surveys and have been paid for every one. They pay $3 for each survey and quite often will send you a full sized product to try and then get paid an additional $3 to answer questions after you try it! I receive payment via Paypal within 48 hours of completing the survey. I have yet to win the drawing, but maybe someday!

Barbara is that you I think it is….Yaaaaay Barbara has been telling me about it for years and I think I just scored hope they include me. Thanx

        • Barbara

Haha! You know it! I hope so too!

      • Brandi

Do you send the full size product back after trying it or do you get to keep it?

    • Mcleodsc

I have been a member for several years. This is a legitimate company. I receive payment on a debit card within a couple of days of doing a survey.

    • Thanks for the infomation and testimonials!  I just enrolled.  I participate on several survey sites, but you know how long it takes to rack up those points!  Immediate pay sounds great!

What great timing. I’ve been with Opinion Outpost and made more than $500 with them, but they were bought out by another company and it has been awful… you now have to answer the same qualifying questions over and over, and I almost never actually qualify. So I’m thrilled to dump them and try something new!

I agree; a lot of them just aren’t as good anymore. I hate Op Outpost now as well.

I finally got accepted about a year ago.  I get maybe 2 surveys a month but have received several full size samples to try (with a follow up survey afterwards).  I opt to get checks in the mail and my $3 shows up within 4-5 days after taking the survey (never got a $5 survey).  My hubby and I have been saving up all my rebates and survey money and plan to take an anniversary trip later this year!

The only thing I don’t like about these survey companies, is that you start finding your personal information on people finder websites.

      • Gb_rocks

What kind of personal information do you find?

    • For those that are already members how many surveys per week/month do you normally receive?

      • Guest

It really just depends. I’ve gotten two in one week before, and then I might go 3-4 weeks before getting another one. It probably averages out to about 2 every 3  weeks, if I had to guess without looking back at my paypal. I imagine it differs for each person, though.

pinecone used to do $5 but went down to $3 when they started to do the $500 sweepstakes.  i have been with them for close to 10 years.  we get my money sent to paypal. a friend has a debit card from them and i like that idea too.

I’ve been a member for about 2 years.  Instead of having to “qualify” for surveys, like with Opinion Outpost, they only send you ones that are relevant to you.  I get about 3 a month.  I used to get checks in the mail but when they started the debit card, I elected to get that.  Now that’s what I use for my CVS and Rite Aid purchases!  If you can get in, I highly recommend them.

I recommend them as well! I JUST got a package TODAY from them to test a new product and I got one a couple weeks ago as well. It seems like they are really hoppin’ right now because I’ve gotten several surveys in the past week.

Just FYI, they do send screener surveys (called “household questions”) that take about 5 minutes and help them decide who qualifies for the actual product evaluation surveys. And then just because you get the survey for evaluation doesn’t mean you will get the actual product to test too. But you still get $3 for the survey.

Anyway, I think it’s the best survey company out there. I have mine automatically sent to a special Paypal address specifically for survey earnings and then I use it to buy fun things online every once in awhile. :)

Thanks so much Jenny! I just completed my first survey and qualified for a free test product.
