If you are a Shop Your Way rewards member check your account to see if you have an extra 10,000 points. This equals $10 that you can spend at Kmart, Sears, or Lands’ End.

I didn’t have it in my account, but there was some credit sitting there from past purchases that I had forgotten about.

The 10,000 point bonus expires 11/8.

If you haven’t joined yet, Shop Your Way Rewards is a FREE program where you can earn 10 points for every $1 you spend at Kmart, Sears, and Land’s End.

I had an extra $5000 points, or $5 in my account to be used by 11/8 but only in “whole house” goods, which is recycling containers, misc. containers, duct tape ect? haven’t had a change to see if any of it has free shipping.

You can use the points on anything, even when it says they are good towards the purchase of specific types of items. At least it has always worked for me to use the free points toward anything…just use before expiration. Hope this info helps in the event that you don’t need/want any “whole house” type items, or for future free points towards whatever they may be ‘pushing’ at that time.

    • oh wow I got 10,000 points in my account. cool i never get anything like that at random.

      • Heather

It’s not random, it’s for people in areas affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Thanks!!! I had 10,000 in my account, and I haven’t spent any money yet- only used the account for free clothing Tuesdays…
But my friend who also did the same thing, had no points. Guess I am lucky.
      Thanks for the heads up!

I get free points at least a couple times a month. It is usually $5.00. It is worth signing up for their emails because they will send you an email when you get free points. Even if it says you have to use the points for a specific item or department in the store, you don’t. The points will work on any purchase.

    • Elisabeth

I logged in and have 10,435 points…but I don’t know how to use them!! Help please. Is that amount just on my card and taken off at the register?? I got my card thru Kmart and shop there hardly ever.!

      • OnABudget

This mean you have $10.43 to spend at Kmart. You can use it on line-for a store pick up or in the store just like cash. Just tell the cashier that you want to use your points. I used mind to buy $1.00 snacks.

        • Heather

you can use it at Sears too

    • S_CarolinaGirl

I logged in, but didn’t get the bonus. Bummer! =(

    • mrmdmom

Thanks…I have an extra 10,000 points! Everyone should note they expire in a few days. Shop quickly.

    • Valerie

HUGE thank you, Jenny! Knew nothing about this, and there they were! :-)

    • mel1

How exciting! Bought some wash cloths at Lands End for $9.97 and found a free shipping code on retail me not dot com so they literally cost me nothing! How sweet is that?!

      • Sarah

thanks for the tip, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where to enter the free shipping code/pin. HELP!

        • mel1

Hmmm… it was when I went to checkout. It asked for my ShopYourWay card number and then below that there was a spot for the promo code and pin. Hope you can find it.

          • Sarah

Thanks! I figured it out, there are two codes, only one has no minimum

    • christa

thanks Jenny! I just realized that I have $20 in points, of which $5 expires on Nov. 8. So do I have to spend all of them by Nov. 8 or will it automatically use the bonus points first? does anyone know? TIA!

      • conwig

As far as I know, you have to spend the expiring points by the expiration date, but you can use all of your points on a single purchase. You have to tell the cashier that you want to use your points toward the purchase.

    • audley79

The other day I got an email saying I had an extra 4000 points added to my account. I spent it right away :)

    • Victoria Kershner

I didn’t get it but I do have some points expiring soon. And it looks like I get an extra 5000 points every once in awhile but only have 3 days to use them and they expire. I guess I should get them sent to an email I actually check regularly.

    • Cortney

Yay! I had them- thanks for the heads up!
