Just a heads up: The buy one $5 card get one $5 card is limited to the first 75,000. It also requires you send it to a different email address, so no obvious gifting yourself. I purchased this over an hour ago and have not received an email indicating that I was one of the first 75,000…

Keep us posted! I have not gotten an email yet, either. Let us know how this turns out. Maybe Jenny can revise this post because I’m not sure I would have done this if there was not a free one, too.

Just got my email for my $5 – it took 25 hrs though…

Thanks! I did not see anywhere on the site anything about the B1G1 $5 card and was hesitant. Thanks for your comment!

You actually need to click on Card then Manage my card, ten you will see egift. If you just bought a card ad not an egift, then you won’t get it. It says you will get the free one listed with the egift. I had to search a little to figure this out and almost bought a regular card

i cannot get the card amount to $5 but would have loved to grab this deal!!!

I purchased one for a friend and they purchased one for me. Hope we are one of the 75,000. Should find out in 24 hours. If not I’m really not out any $ since I probably would spend $5 at Starbucks anyway.

You have to make sure that you send the “Red Cup” card to get the promo I believe. I still haven’t gotten an email about my free $5 card yet, but a lot of times SBUX takes 24 hours for “rewards”. :)

I just called the Starbucks customer service line just to make sure and the woman told me that we should receive an email with the $5 egift for us within 24 hours. Hope this helps!

    • Sara

On the starbucks website it says it doesn’t include starbucks cards but I tried anyway and it wouldn’t take the $25 dollars off.. Do you have a special way of getting it to work? :/

    • Olga

I sent my hubby $5 and he sent me $5 back and we both got a $5 egift card!

    • sylv

its been 24 hours, still didnt get the extra 5 dollars.

    • Ed823

I never got mine and its been over 24 hours. I did it very soon after it was posted so I would think I would have been able to get it.
