Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner

Let’s all take a minute to be thankful for coupons!  I hope the tricks of waiting until items are on sale and stacking on coupons has made your upcoming holiday meals less stressful and gives you more time to just enjoy this season with your family.

This week, I am hoping for you all to share a traditional Thanksgiving recipe, your family’s favorite dish or what you are bringing to the big dinner this year. We are taking a break from counting points this week and just sharing some recipes that make it Thanksgiving!

*These prices are based off of averages and are subject to change weekly

I am very thankful for coupons! Yesterday, I took a huge box filled with canned goods, potatoes, stuffing, toothpaste, soap, baby food, etc… to our local food bank. It was a very cold morning, and when I arrived at the building, and there was a huge line of families queuing up outside. I am so thankful for what my family has, and that my children are warm, fed and have the medicine they need. I was filled with gratitude for all of our blessings, and for our ability to share what we can with those who do not have even the basics right now. Coupons have been a wonderful tool to help us stretch every dollar to give to others in need. We do not have a lot of extra money, but so far this year, we’ve purchased over $630 worth of food and products for the the food bank for less than $70. Thank you so much for the work you put in on this site which helps my family save on the food we eat, and also helps us pay forward to other families in need. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
