If you’re shopping for yourself and not for children, another site to check out is Twice at liketwice.com. Their prices are a little higher, but they offer a higher level of service. There are more photos of the items, including side and back views. They also show fabric types, laundry instructions, and measurements and give you the ability to ask a question about an item before purchasing. All of this makes it a lot easier to be confident about your purchases. They also offer free return shipping in case you don’t like something for any reason. For me, this makes me prefer Twice over ThredUp because I know I won’t be wasting money on items that end up not working out. I still save a TON of money over buying things new. And they send out a daily email with items that match your past purchasing habits and give you 10% off your order if you purchase an item from the email. I’ve seen holiday discounts of 30% and 40% sitewide and I believe they give a $20 credit to you and your friend if you refer a friend to purchase from the site. Just an idea for all you saavy shopping ladies!

Just placed my very first order. Thanks! Gee, I might send them a bit of stuff!

I wouldn’t! Better to donate it.

I just read the reviews. I hope that means the 2 shirts I ordered today are top line.

I ordered once from them; the two pieces were definitely not in great shape and one even had a hole in it. I would not recommend.

I have had great luck ordering from them. And the one time something was not, they refunded the money, no questions asked. Didn’t ask for the item back or anything. But yes, you don’t get a whole lot back when you send them clothing. Its a lot easier than consigning, though.
