Heads up! Starting August 29th, the USPS First Class Forever Stamps are increasing from 55¢ per stamp to 58¢ per stamp, which is a 60¢ increase per book of stamps.

While the pennies may not feel like a lot, if you send lots of Christmas Cards, have Wedding invitations to mail out or just love to send mail, this is a great time to grab a few books of Forever Stamps before the prices increase takes effect.

The Post Office is also increasing prices on other types of first class mail.  Here are the price changes they list:

First-Class Mail Current Prices Planned Prices
First-Class Single-Piece Letters (1 oz.)   55¢ 58¢
First-Class Letters (metered 1 oz.) 51¢ 53¢
First-Class Domestic Postcards 36¢ 40¢
First-Class Single-Piece Flats (1 oz.) $1 $1.16
