My go to party dish is so easy.  You’ll need a brick of cream cheese (light or FF is fine if you prefer) and a package of dry italian salad dressing mix (you know the kind that to make dressing you mix with oil and water).  Open the package of dry dressing mix and pour it on the plat you will serve the cheese brick on.  Unwrap the cheese brick and touch it on all sides against the dry dressin gmix.  Cover the brick on all sides with dressing mix.  It should stick ot the brick.  Then place the brick on the plate and cover. refridgerate.  Serve with crackers.  The moisture in the cheese will slightly wick out and mix with the dressing to form a thin spice gel covering.  When spread on crackers with the cheese, it’s so good. very simple, make ahead, and inexpensive.  Kids especially love it!!   Happy New Year!!
