Whole Foods Weekly Ad & Deals

    • Heather Pernell

Hi! Why have there not been Whole Foods ads for the last couple of weeks? Did I miss something?

      • Hey there! If you ever are not seeing it let me know but they have been up.

    • Mary Holland

I am not seeing it this week!

      • The Whole Foods Ad is up. Are you still not seeing it? Make sure you are clicking at the top tab.

The category coupon, $5 off $20 (8/24-8/30) off of Fresh Fruits & Vegetables refreshed again. I didn’t like the cotton candy grapes (bland, boring) but they also had California Table Grapes, organic for $1.99 lb at my Whole Foods. The red ones were especially yummy.

Sometimes (usually?), there is a Trader Joe’s near Whole Foods. I have noticed that TJ’s makes a point of having the area low price on eggs and butter. At least this has the case in California, Washington, Texas, and Virginia for the last 15 years I have shopped them. Also, for those of us against lower fat yogurt, the TJ’s brand offers a lower cost whole milk alternative to more expensive brands like Fage. Only 20% of their stock is non store brand and not all of it is cheaper. I think you can get a better deal for King Arthur’s Flour at Target or the grocery store. Their chocolate deals are pretty good and rivals Cost Plus.

      • Renee Kimball-Mach

You are right about the King Arthur’s Flour being cheaper at Target or grocery store. I agree! and here (in south Florida), same situation….Trader Joe’s is right across the street from the Whole Foods! Interesting to know it is set up elsewhere the same fashion. Happy Holidays to all!

    • Never_Speechless

      No whole foods deals :(

      • They will be posted later today. Sorry for the delay!

    • Toni Woodbury

Whole Foods in my town will reject any coupon that they cannot get to scan. I wonder if they don’t realize that manufacturers will honor the coupon for them regardless of that. Sometimes it’s the scanner that’s at fault, sometimes its the quality of the print job, and sometimes it is the cashier not willing to give it another try. . .

      • Kate Miller

The reason they do that is because they can’t be sure that the coupon is legitimate. They do know that *if* it is legitimate, the manufacturer will still honor it, but when it doesn’t scan they can’t be sure whether it is counterfeit or not, and (understandably) do not want to take the chance. Harris Teeter has this policy too. Try asking them to use the handheld scanner instead– sometimes printed coupons that have difficulty scanning on the counter scanner will go through using the handheld one right away.
