It’s no surprise that our family loves to read, and I love to read a wide range of books. And even though I talk and share about frugal living as my profession, sometimes reading a book about frugality or simplifying serves to give me a jolt of inspiration. If you like to read, there are so many books about frugal living on the market that it can be hard to sift through them. Well, I’ve gone through all the “top” lists and made sure I’m only presenting the cream of the crop—scroll through this list and see what jumps out at you!

All of these are available on Amazon as Ebooks or printed books, but my best recommendation for trying out a book is to check it out from your local libray (for more tips on that, check out our 6 Ways to Download Free Audiobooks and Ebooks!). Hopefully at least one of these will give you a bit of inspiration toward a more frugal life!

Just a note, remember that frugality doesn’t mean the same thing to everyone. These books run the range of making a budget to how to talk about money with your kids to how to make things from scratch to how to live a more simple life overall.
