This week for Frugal Date Friday we are going to focus on serving others! With Thanksgiving coming up, we realize just how much we have to be thankful for. In honor of this, we are going to give back.

Some ways to serve:

-Volunteer at local food bank or homeless shelter
-Go shopping for items to pack Operation Christmas Child Boxes
-Donate extra clothing, household items, and shoes
-Pick a family from an Angel Tree to shop for

Haiti Operation Christmas Child

There are so many needs in every community that you should easily be able to find something you’ll enjoy doing together. If you decide to do something local you’ll have the added bonus of being able to meet new people in your community.

You could even bring the kids along and let me them serve too. This is a great opportunity to give back and think of others, together!
