I love late spring and early summer because I can send the kids outside to wear off energy (and keep the house a tad bit cleaner). Honestly we all need to spend more time outside, fresh air and sunshine are the top two things needed for sanity! No parent should feel the need to entertain their kids all day long, but sometimes coming up with something new or interesting to do can transform an afternoon.
