Spring is almost here and that means it’s time to get out in the garden. Instead of throwing away a nice milk jug when your done, consider turning it into a watering can. These work great as makeshift cans for the kiddos!
If you don’t have a milk jug to spare, a laundry detergent bottle could work to, it might just be harder to punch the holes. Depending on the lid an ink pen or clothespin could work or punch holes in the cap with a hammer and nail, or craft knife and secure the lid to have your new watering can!
You could use the jug by itself, but with the cap, it releases water in lesser amounts so it makes for a more even water distribution and doesn’t drown your plants!
