Cooking With Kraft has loaded 3 new printable coupons.  My printers are all down since the lightening strike last week, but I’m guessing these coupons are going to have the same “Redeem at Publix” on them and “Retailer Coupon”.  They are still manufacturer coupons though… so no stacking these with other manufacturer coupons.

      $1.50 off Kraft Dressing

      $1 off Oscar Mayer Franks

      $1 off Kraft 2% Cheese
      (eligible item for Kraft rebate)

            What Does it All Mean?

            What does it all mean

I have a wide range of posts about how to save in the store and coupons in general but realized that aren’t many places on Southern Savers that explain how to use the lists and the site.

I know the lists are long and very colorful and for many newcomers it just turns into a mass of words.

            First Things First:

To find deals for a specific store you can use the buttons below the main header to go straight to a list of all recent posts. Some stores have further drop options like Publix, you can go only to the penny item post or to the advantage buy lists. The two buttons on the far right will take you to the weekly coupon previews and the “Top Deals” and “Need it Now” lists. These are to help you sort through all the stores faster if there is only one or two staple items that you need.

If you need to find a post for another store or maybe from a past printable coupon list then use the drop down list to the left that says “Deals by Store” it is all the categories that I use to organize things.

Found the list, now what does it mean:

When you are looking at a list you are looking at the deals in the store that are considered to be at their lowest possible price. I do not list entire weekly ads because many items are not on sale or are only a fraction of the sale that they will be later. For more about the basics of saving go here.

Here is an example from a recent Publix list to break down:

            Kellogg’s Cereal B1G1 at $4.39
Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, Corn Pops, or Apple Jacks
            -$1 off Kellogg’s Cereal RP 6/07 (exp 7/19)
            (makes it $1.19 ea)
-$1/2 Kellogg’s Cereals in store dispenser
-$2/2 Dannon Danimals wyb (2) Kellogg’s Cereals “Fuel for School” booklet
            Kellogg’s $10
            Fuel for School! Rebate
(note: look for boxes marked $5 in coupons inside)

The item on sale and any details are in black.
The coupons available are in red.
My notes and tips for you are in green.

I try to list all the coupons that are out for that item so that you can find more to use. Since we want to stock up on items we want to have a coupon for each item. You can only use one manufacturer coupon per item though so pick the coupons you have.

RP 6/07 – this coupon was in the Red Plum newspaper insert on June 7th.
exp 7/19 – the coupon will expire on 7/19 — I will only list expiration dates if it is during the sale week
in store dispenser – the little red boxes that are all over the store
booklet – usually found at the store also around the front entrance or on end cap displays, ask customer service if they have it too.

                Mailboxes

I have had lots of requests for a place to trade coupons so after much research I have found the cheapest option for me, and best option for our server.  We now have a “Southern Savers Traders” google group!

Go and check it out.  You can post coupons you want, coupons to trade, or coupons to giveaway.

Please no selling of coupons or using this group to market your own business or website.  This is just a friendly place to swap.

You will have to join the group to be able to post a trade, and any first time posts will be held for moderation (I’ll try to be quick).

                This is great for:

                • areas that don’t get the full inserts
                • areas that don’t get Red Plum inserts at all
                • folks with no babies but lots of cats
                • folks with lots of babies and no cats
                • folks who just need 10 of some strange coupon
                • anyone that just can’t ever seem to find a coupon booklet
