This weekend only cast a sale on Reading IQ (from the makers of ABCMouse)!  You can get 8 months for FREE with a big July 4th weekend sale.  You’ll pay $29.99 for the year (reg. $7.99 a month or $95 a year) when you sign up this weekend.

Reading IQ an app focused on getting kids to read at least 20 minutes every day.  Each account is good for up to 3 different kids.  You set up each kids account with their reading level and preferences.  Then they are off getting to pick books that interest them.  It ranges from pre-school books that are read aloud to pre-readers all the way to 6th grade.

There are thousands of different books to read that will have them learn facts on favorite animals to enjoying adventure tales from around the world.

Kids can see how many minutes they’ve read each day, plus their total minutes read all time.  It also keeps track of every book they’ve read.

Our Experience With Reading IQ:
We’ve used this now for a few months with three of our girls.  They all love it and feel like it’s getting to go to the library for new books everyday!  I like that it works on a computer, iPad and phone so they aren’t all fighting to read on the same device.  I also like that it works offline so we can read on the go in the car (or while we wait at piano lessons). Reading IQ has been great to keep them motivated to keep reading and learning.

Not ready to get a whole year?
You can get one month for free to try it out through this link.  We haven’t seen sales on this before though so I’d try it for a day or two and then if you like it go for the sale.
