Cadbury Butterscotch Crunch bags are on clearance for $1.19 a bag at Walgreens.

Buy: 6 Bags for $7.14

Use:
(3) -$1 off (2) Hershey’s coupon in the April Easy Saver booklet
(2) -$1.50 off (3) Hershey’s or Cadbury in SS 3/15

Total for 6 bags = $1.14

Then you can try to submit for rebate #25, and get $5 back for buying 4 bags of Hershey’s Candy (might work). (Thanks Tracey)

      I went to Wags today and DID get the Cadbury candies! I think I paid less than $2 for the six bags, because I only had one SS coupon…but the cashier inadvertently charged me only .19 for one of the bags instead of the 1.19! ha!
      ALSO as a note: you only need ONE coupon from the Easy Saver book because it recognizes how many times to take it off…
      The coupon was $1 off two bags (or 50 cents off each)…
      I got the $2.50 off for the first 5 bags, and then the .19 off for the 6th bag…
      Seems their register knows how much each one costs and how much it allows to be taken off.
      Anyway, still a great deal!! Thanks for the heads up!
      FYI… Wags has the RR on Skintimate shave cream just like CVS… so get one each place!

      here in npr richey we can only use manf. coupon and one store coupon per products

      I’d like to do the Schick deal, but at my Walgreens they won’t let me get overage, and it has ruined so many good deals for me! For instance, I found a toothbrush in the clearance rack for .25 and had a .75 off Colgate coupon for it. I made sure to put it with some other things I was buying, so that it would just take some money off another item and not beep at me, but it did of course beep at me until she just handed me back my coupon. I know, small potatoes, but just one example of why I’m scared to ever try the truly awesome deals.

      you get the april easy saver when you go to walgreens in our dtore it is right there at the display when you first walk in if you dont see it ask some they willl be happpy to point it out to you happy couponing

      jamie i would ask politly to see a manager because the policy is so long as they dont give you change back you can use the coupons perhapps some of the cashires dont know how to do it i run into this problem all the time at publix and when i explain it to them they call some one and find out that i am right most of the cashiers are nice about it but once in a while i do get a down right nasty one who feels the need to tell me i am already getting a good deal and they will firmly suggest i put the coupon away for another time this happened this wee the artisan crackers were on sale bogo and i had 4 coupons for bogo the cashier tried telling me i couldnt use it cause it was already bogo and went on to tell me they cant be just giving things away for free. she really tried to embarass me for trying to use the coupon. but i explained to her the store policy and she called some one and found out i was right then looked at me and said i wish i could get groceries for free and i told her she could and recomended this site to her

      How does the Schick Disposable Razors deal work? Aren’t all 3 of those manufacturing coupons?

        The Easy Saver coupon is really a store coupon.

        The deal works because a B1G1 coupon is really a coupon off one item. It is making one item free but you are still buying a second item at full price and are still able to use another manufacturer coupon on that second item. So use the $4 off coupon on the item that is still full price. You can then stack a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon so you can use 2 store coupons since you are buying 2 items.

      I think the $4 coupon is for a regular razor though and these are the disposibles??? Can anyone confirm that this has worked yet?

      the razor deal did not work for me because they said they had to scan walgreens coupons first then that changed the price so i owed a dollar per each razor still not a bad deal but free and overage would have been nicer and the candy did not work for me because they were not on sale or clearance here in npr fl bummer

      but i did get free vitamin water by using the coupon i sundays paper and the easy saver coupon walgreens had for 50 of 2 soo still good deals at walgreens

      I tried Wlgreening this am, but after spending time thinking about buy #1 and buy #2 , adn going through the store finding items, the cashier said that I could only use one RR per transaction. I was horrified! My deals aren’t going to work this way! I asked to speak to the manager, and she said that it is up to the manager of the store on what kind of policy they have to accepting RR. She said all stores will soon be going to redeming only one at a time. Jenny have you heard about this?

        i have not heard of any policy change. I kno corporates policy is that they are coupons and as long as you have enough items to cover the number of coupons you are using it is fine. And as long as they don’t owe you money in the end :)

      Just so nobody is disappointed…not all the WG have that candy marked down the same. At my store, it’s only been marked down to $2.64/bag.

      This may not be the right thread to post this on, and if it is, I’m very sorry. I just figured since this was the newest one….

      Finally, I got a straight answer from my bosses about the Easy Saver program! Unfortunately, April IS the last month for it after all.:-( Although I didn’t get all the details yet (was a busy, crazy day at work!), it sounds as though the rebates which could have been earned through the catalog are now going to be given instantly through the Catalina machine as Register Rewards. Instant gratification sounds good to me! I don’t know if WG is planning on upping the number of coupons per weekly ad to make up for the ones lost through the Easy Saver or not. I’ll let you all know when I find out.

      Like Jennifer said, YMMV greatly on the Cadbury butterscotch crunch mini-bars. They had no markdown labels at my favorite store, but came up at $1 when the cashier ran a price check. That was a perfect price for the available coupons! Yum! These are SO good!

      A different store only had them marked down to $2.29 and had them in the clearance bin. I left them for someone else to buy.

      I have found by trial and error that while they wll not allow an overage with the coupons it will apply if you have spent enough on that particular product. Example: I had the $4.00 off 2 One A Day Teen or Adult product coupon that shows the One A Day drink mix on it that they have for $1.49 and $1.49 rebate. Well 2 of them are only $3.00 and it wouldnt take my coupon. I added a 3rd one to the order and it took my coupon. Also did this with the Cloysis toothpaste $2.00 coupon. They were clearanced for $1.59 and it wouldnt take coupon but when I added a 2nd one it did. So it seems as long as you have enough spent on that product it will take the coupon. Doesnt help for overages but it does for some free items. So for the .25 toothbrush with .75 coupon if you get 3 it will take your coupon.

      I also have bought the Schick deal. You have to ring the easysaver coupon first or the register wil reject your manufacturer coupon.I had to go round and round with the rude cashier and not so savy manager. But i finally got it where my 2 packs were .99 for the both.

      Tried the Schick razor deal. The razors rang up at 6.99 on sale. Used the B1G1 coupon and $1 off Schick disposables. Saved the easy saver coupon until last as was suggested. The register beeped. The cashier said that it wouldn’t take the coupon because I had gotten one free. I didn’t want to argue with her and paid $6.97 for two packs. Not a bad price but wish it has been less.

        Did you have any other items with you? The system will not allow for overage and it doesn’t like to take more coupons than products so it might have been one of those things that triggered the dreaded beep.

      Thanks Jenny. That’s the first time I tried to do a WAGS deal. I didn’t have any other items so I bet that is the reason it beeped.
