with the 20% coupon, does anyone know if you are able to combine a 10% off coupon as well? I received one for signing up for the beauty club.

      • I tried to pull up my email from last week, but the link won’t work… there is nothing in their official policy that says they wouldn’t take both, the only thing that may stop you is the wording on the coupon it’s self.

    • Lorraine York

can I ask what newspaper you get. I scoured my inserts back and front and did not have the deodorant coupons

      • I get the The State newspaper out of Columbia SC.

    • Amie

I really enjoyed these videos although I’ve been a CVS shopper for a few years. It really illustrates just how great CVS is. I did the Pantene deal and made a small profit last week and earned $5 Beauty Bucks and $4 quartely ECBs..basically an exta $9 in ECBs that I didn’t have to start with. I used my combined $19 ECBs today and bought 3 CVS training pants and a box of theater candy and spent $3+ oop and got $9 ECBs back. I hope to get a percent off coupon or an $x/xx coupon this Thursday because I want to do the Coppertone deal too. I buy almost all my diapers, training pants, hair and beauty products at CVS and pay just a fraction of retail. Now that I have a nice stockpile, I can not imagine paying much more than $4 for training pants/diapers and free – 50 cents for toothpaste, deodorant, mouthwash, shampoo, etc. CVS is my favorite drug store by far! I also use point programs to earn free CVS gift cards to save even more.

      • Name

What point programs do you use to earn free CVS gift cards? Thanks

    • jeanne

I joined CVS a year or so ago, but I never get emails with coupons from them anymore. Wonder why?

    • Kimberly

So glad I watched this video. I learned two things I didn’t know! Two coupons on a BOGO? I had no idea! I also didn’t know that you could use one of the % off coupons on ECB items. Thanks Jenny!

      • Jeffy Walker

So you we can use a BOGO MF and a MF Money off?

    • kimberly

are the cvs diapers any good?

      • I’ve found that they are exactly the same as Target and Publix house brands. Possibly even made by the same company??

    • Erin J

I just noticed $1/1 Right Guard and $1/1 Dry Idea at SavingStar – does that work at CVS?

    • nancy

have you noticed that the 20% off coupon is not really 20%?
( bought a $14.99 non-sale item, expecting $2.98 off. I got only $2.70–clerk has no explanation. Love CVS, but this is puzzling.

      • BD

My CVS clerk explained that the 20% off is AFTER any Qs or EBs have been used. If you use the 20% off first, you’ll notice the amount adjusting downward as any other Qs or EBs are entered. My guess is that you used another coupon on that transaction (or an EB), which lowered the 20% amount. Still any additional $ off is good, in my book.

        • nancy

thanks, BD – I’ll try to use nothing next time.

    • Hannah

anyone having problems printing coupons? mine wont print for some reason.

    • cucabura

Does anyone know what exactly is included in the beauty coupons? For example, does it include deodorant, razors, etc? I know it includes cosmetics and hair care but what else does it include?

      • R614

Cosmetics, Fragrances, Hair Accessories, Hair Appliances, Hair Care, Hair Color, Healthy Skin Care and Skin Care.

    • jrenee

Went to CVS this morning, and as usual, saved about 75%. I have weeks when I do better, but that is always my goal, so I was happy with that. It occurred to me on the way home (as I was giddy over one of my deals and getting the $5/15 coupon that printed on the receipt of my first transaction) that I could not do this on my own. And I realized I have never said “thank you” to you, Jenny, as well as all of your helpers. Thank you so much for all that you do! I know it is a “job” of sorts, but it is also your passion to help others save, and I recognize and appreciate that. This is part of what allows me to stay home with my children, and I will be forever grateful for your part in that. May God continue to bless you as you help others.

    • Johnny

Can you still get the ECB with the mouthwash if you got it a couple weeks ago?

    • Never_Speechless

I love CVS. I’m a single girl that lives in a 1 br apt….there is only so much stuff I need and can store in my bathroom closet. I’ve been doing the deals there for 2 months now and I think I have enough stuff to last me a few years. It’s so tempting to go in and get the new deals….but I have so much already. Can’t wait to use it all and begin all over again!

      • lisa

if you get the item for free and do not have room for it you can share with family or friends and also donate …

      • kaoscasa

Donate to a worthy charity or if you need some extra cash, sell at a flea mkt/yard sale or take to a flea mkt and sell to a dealer.

      • BrandiJ

maybe you can find storage bins that fit under your bed? also sometimes things actually take up less room if you take them out of the box. I feel your pain. I am at the point (after only 3 months of couponing) to where I can only buy soap, toothpaste or shampoo if it’s free or a MM. lol and even those I’m tossing into a box to donate.

    • lisa

thank you so much!! I did all the deals above except the nail polish I found all coupons except the 20% off! so excited… what a haul… i cant wait for the diaper deal this sunday… i have my new grandson. both of my children moved out of the house so I share all my goodies with them. I ended up getting a 2nd CVS card for my daughter. I buy all the deals x 2 and give them all to her. when she is finished with school and her internship I will take her along and teach her how to shop with coupons and get the best deals at the drug stores… thanks again for all your hard work ..

    • Tina

How do you use coupons for the same item, multiple times when it says one coupon per purchase? For example, the Garnier products, I printed the coupons and it says only one per purchase.

      • Maria

You can’t use the same coupon. You have to have multiple coupons.

      • BrandiJ

one coupon per purchase means one coupon per item. If you buy 4 items, you can use 4 coupons for those items. Hope that helps.

    • Shanna

I did this yesterday and it worked like a charm! Thank you Jenny :) The cashier even told me what a great customer I was because I was so organized!

    • Rachel

I signed up for a new card. Does anyone know if you can roll over your Beauty Care and quarterly purchases to the new card? Have other people had luck getting coupons again after signing up for a new card? I know I have seen others posting often about not receiving coupons from the red box recently even though in the past you always received tons of them. I called CVS and they say it prints based on your purchases. I go weekly sometimes and still get nothing and what I get isn’t relevant to my purchases most often.

love love that your doing videos! i just saw this one and love it (im a visual) i will definately check out ur youtube channel!

    • crystalgoodwin3

Just wanted to say Jenny that I have really enjoyed watching the videos. I learned how CVS works along time ago from you. But it’s always great to get a refresher course. It’s also fun to see what other people buy.

    • arana

Thanks Jenny! I used this guide today at my store and it worked like a charm. I LOVE THIS WITH THE VIDEO! This has helped me so much and I hope you will continue to teach us how to coupon!!

    • Never_Speechless

I’m curious as to why I didn’t get the full 20% off my full priced items. My full price items were 2 Coppertone’s for 10.49 each, Revlon Lipstick 8.49 and a bottle of Juice for 3.19. Total cost 32.66. I only got 4.65 as the 20% discount…should have been 6.53. I had used coupons…..5- off 2 coppertone, 5- off suncare products, 3- off one revlon product, 1- off revlon, and 1- off the juice.
