Allure does this all the time. Usually the first week of the month. August they have giveaways all month from noon to 4 on the hour.

How do I enter? It says enter to win on September 26 at noon EDT, but there is nowhere to click to enter.

I had the same problem everyone else is saying…no where to click to enter. It says enter to win on September 26 at noon edt and there’s a little arrow but it’s not a link. Wish I could have entered!

Mine went through and it said something like “Thanks for entering.” Whatever that means? I guess you need to do it right at noon. That’s what I did. When I finished it already said this giveaway is over.

I think I was able to enter. I typed in all my information prior to noon (or 11am in AL) and then hit submit. It took forever, but it said “Thanks for Entering!” or something like that, then it took me back to the main page where it said the giveaway was over. So fingers crossed!

I checked the site prior to 12 and it showed the enter here box. I bet a ton of people entered before noon and that is why at 12:01 we could not get in.

I just refreshed 45 minutes later, and the link appeared. I filled out the info, and it said thanks for entering!!!!

Me too, mine still says working an hour later. I am leaving the house soon so I guess it will be working while I am gone. I don’t know why I even tried, should have known. :(

I refreshed the page from 12 to 12:25 and no clickable link to enter ever appeared. I hit the contact us tab & let them know then I left for a bit. When I returned at 12:50 there was finally an entry button on the page & my entry went right through.

Allure never tells you if you won. They just say IF you won something it will simply show up in your mailbox in 4-6 weeks. They have constant giveaways but most are for the first 50 or 100 or 200 people at 12pm. They never post a “sorry we ran out” message and they let people enter all day long.

But this entry form is not the usual for Allure. I have done hundreds on their site & their usual form asks your sex, age, income, will you subscribe to their magazine or not, and then you have to click yes or no to a bunch of newsletters. So at least this form was quicker.

What clock are you supposed to use to know it is “12:00″ EST? I used the clock on my computer…waited 15 seconds after it turned 12:00, hit submit…..been “working” for 2 hours and 23 minutes now? Did I do it correctly?

I don’t often use the word “hate” because it’s a strong word; but I hate Allure’s website! I’ve long suspected that no one ever wins anything through those contests…and Laura below is right – they let you waste your time entering all day long instead of posting “we ran out.” Love the magazine, but their “giveaways” are jokes.

I wonder as well if they actually award anything. As I said I’ve entered hundreds of their giveaways for months, and I’ve never yet received any item from them. I’d say 50% of the time I’ve entered within 1 minute of the start time and still apparently have never won a thing.

The entry form still says “working” after 17 minutes. Oh well. it never hurts to try-ONCE.

It never went through for the mascara give away so I didn’t even bother on Wednesday. Today I decided to give it another whirl and it went straight through??? beats me!
