    This is not a great brand. I had one as my very first digital in college. The pics were really grainy. That was a few years ago but I don’t think they have changed that much.

    I bought my kids both Vivitar T027 cameras last year for Christmas.  Both cameras take terrible photos, although after going through all of the settings manually I was able to improve things a tiny bit.  Now the photos are just bad, not terrible.  Additionally, the time it takes from pushing the button until it actually takes the photo is SO long that they miss a lot of photo ops.  Had I not gotten such a great deal, they would have been returned.  My kids are only 6 and 9 and really wanted “real” cameras, so these fit the bill without breaking the bank.  It just depends on who/what you’re buying it for.
