If you’re stuck at home and need some fresh entertainment ideas, I’ve got you covered! Here are the 12 best ideas for frugal family fun. These were all shared by Southern Savers readers.

You may need a few supplies so order them off Amazon for quickly delivery or do grocery pick-up.

Family Fun Ideas

1) Finger foods for dinner – for some reason every meal is more fun when you can use your hands or have everyone eat off the same platter.

2) Reverse meal and eat dessert first.

3) Have a Nerf battle or roll up some socks and have a snowball fight.

4) Play chopped! Use whatever ingredients you have to see what you can cook.

5) Play hide & seek inside or outside.

6) Have the kids make a  “you’ll probably say no, but…” list of three things they wanted to do. I picked one from each list.

7) Play board games. Here are our favorites.

8) Get canvases and paint . Pull up a Bob Ross video and every one can paint their version of “Happy Little Trees.”

9) Glow stick dance party.

10) Have a movie night/sleepover in the living room. Here are 20 of my favorites.

11) Make it backward day…. clothes, breakfast for supper, etc.

12) Make your own mini pizzas. This is my go-to pizza dough recipe.
