The Mystery Penny Item at Publix for Wednesday 3/30 or Thursday 3/31, is:

Publix Bleach

You can get the Publix Penny item with any purchase that is $10 or more before coupons. There is a Mystery Penny Item coupon in the Wednesday or Thursday Paper every week . Some stores do not require this coupon, but many have changed and do require it now, check with your store to find their policy.

The Penny Item is for one day only, and will be the day that the add starts in your area. This is Wednesday for all of SC and AL, and parts of GA, or Thursday for Northern GA.

**Note: FL and some Coastal GA stores DO NOT participate in the Penny Item**

A thought… You will not get much closer to free, so if you don’t need, like or want this item, then give it away. There are many folks that would probably love it!

    Okay, I'm probably overlooking it somewhere, but I can't find the Publix coupon in my Spartanburg paper. Anyone found it?

      Call your store our here in Chattanooga no longer require the coupon so they aren't putting it in the paper. Took me several weeks to figure that out.

    yall lie to me i went to the store and their was no special i felt stupid……i was suppose to pay 10.00 bt i paid 23.00 that was not right…

      No need to accuse anyone of lying…perhaps your store does not participate, or maybe your Publix has their penny deal on Thursdays instead of Wednesday. Jenny mentioned both of these possibilities in her disclaimer about the Publix Penny item.

      I don't think you read the deal correctly. It's just one item for a penny. It wasn't going to cost you $10 for all your groceries. It's up at the front next to customer service usually.

    I haven't found the penny item yet.. I don't think our stores participate in Athens/Statham/Winder.. area.. BUT, I always forget to ask…silly me. :)

    The Publix in Cool Springs (Franklin, TN) did beed stock instead for some reason. I'm totally cool with that because I use more of that than bleach!

    7 jars of Earth's Best baby food
    French's mustard
    Kotex
    2 packs of cat treats
    Scotties tissue
    Bleach

    All for less than $3! Great way to start my Thursday!

    Cumming, GA penny item was Ghiradelli Brownies instead of bleach… YUM… but coulda used bleach.

    It would be helpful if the penmny info came out of Tuesdays. I do my shopping on Wednesday early morning. I don't get a Wednesday paper if the penny special isn't something I can use. Now I have to wait until I get to the store to know what it is for that week. Thanks, Sandie
