Who doesn’t like free money?

Tuesday November 1st FedEx is giving away $25 American Express gift cards to the first 30,000 visitors to their facebook page.  I know that seems just plain old crazy, but if that’s what they want to do I’m not gonna stop them!

Actually this is in honor of Small Business Saturday November 26th.  Their goal is to have all the gift cards ready for the winners to use on that day.

If you are a small business owner check out all the ways FedEx and Amex are helping you promote this day, including a $25 rebate for anyone that shops in your store!

    From what I seen on Facebook you don’t have to be a small business.  They are gonna be giving out the gift cards and then on a certain you can use them at small businesses.

    Where can you spend these it says for small business Saturday to stimulate small independent businesses, and it says to register, does this mean the fist 30k will get the gift cards or will only be eligible aka in the running for the cards?

    I am reading the comments on facebook and it looks like you need an American Express card to get the 25 dollars. Then, you have to spend that 25 on a small business by a certain day in November. I hate when there are all of  these loops to hop through!

    Just wanted to let you know … they didn’t advertise this truthfully:  It is actually a credit on your statement of an Amex you already have and you have to spend 25 or more on saturday to get the credit

      Not true.  That is a completely different promotion.  This one is for a gift card and has nothing to do with having a credit card!

    All I see is people complaining that you have to already have an Amer Exp card and that the giveaway is a $25 credit on your statement that you will receive after you make a $25 purchase at a small business on 11/26 using that Amer Exp card

    Just left their site.It is only for AMEX card holders.They will credit $25.00 tio your account.That is not how I understood it.Bummer.

    I believe there are two different promotions–one for AmEx cardholders and one for others.  Either way, the site isn’t working.  I wish retailers would learn that these facebook promotions that invite 1000′s of people to their facebook page all at once NEVER work right (ask Lowe’s Home Improvement).

    You only get a credit on your statement, You have to have an amex credit card

    There are 2 different  promotions, you have to be patient & wait for the page to load to get the gift card. I got both :)

    Gift cards are now gone. The page asking for my info came up and when I submitted it, it came working, but I’m not sure if it actually went through. Oh well. Congrats to all those who were successful.

      That’s the same thing I experienced..I left one of the pages open the finally loaded and when I clicked sign up it said I had already done so and it was only one per Facebook ID so fingers crossed one will be in my mailbox :)

    I talked to FedEx and then American Express I tried for an hour that counts talk n to both companies not satisfied. American Express was going to send me a card in the mail but soon took back the offer. Don’t recommend these companies. Don’t honor their word. Also tried 3 other websites. Wasted time I can’t get back.
