Can you believe it’s really fall? I hope the weather here in the Southeast catches up with the calendar, but at least in terms of the kitchen, I’m starting to make more fall dishes. Think less salads, and more casseroles and stews. Here is my monthly meal plan for October 2023, free for you and full of yummy ideas for meals for the entire month.

Southern Savers FREE October 2023 Monthly Meal Plan

This month I want to start making some recipes that make me feel like fall. I still like to use the grill because the weather is cooperating, but I also want to make some chili dogs and some heartier dishes. If there are side dishes or other foods on the monthly meal plan that you don’t like, just substitute for something your family will eat! I’ve also included many one-dish meals for this month as fall activities ramp up and you don’t want to make complicated meals that will leave a big mess.
