        Creat a Blank Facebook Profile

If you are tired of seeing all the coupons on facebook and not getting them (or if you are tired of giving your personal information out just to get coupons) there is a way to have a BLANK facebook page that lets you get coupons without sharing anything personal!

To get a blank page we are going to create a new facebook profile.  You do not need to upload pictures, network with friends, or fill out your profile information. You can simply create the bare minimum of a Facebook account to print your coupons!

Here are 10 simple guiding steps to making a blank Facebook page:

        1. Create a free email just for couponing/samples.  Great ones out there are: gmail, yahoo, or hotmail.  Using a different email than your normal account helps friends and family members not be able to find you.

        2.  Now go to Facebook.com

        3. Fill in all your information – Name, E-mail (use your new one created in #1), Password, Gender, & Birthday

        4. Click “Sign Up”.
        5. Enter the words you see in the security box.

        6. Click “Sign Up”.
        7. Click “Skip” on the next three steps (this is key to having a blank profile)

        – Skip finding friends.
        – Skip updating your profile.

        – Skip uploading a profile picture.

        8. Now check your email for and open an e-mail from Facebook.

        9. Click the link to confirm your e-mail address.

        10. Enter the confirmation code provided in the e-mail sent to you (if it asks for it).

Now, you have a Facebook account. Enjoy printing your coupons! To get started checkout all the facebook coupons from yesterday alone.

          I have fun news!

Starting tomorrow the Kroger Fuel Rewards program is making a big improvement.  You can now earn up to $1 off per gallon of gas with points.

***To learn more about shopping at Kroger and to see all of the deals go here.***

In the past you could use 100 points to get 10¢ off a gallon of gas, but if you had 200 points your discount did not get any bigger.  Now you will get 10¢ off for every 100 points you have.  So if you have 400 points saved up you’ll get 40¢ off, have 1000 points you’ll get $1 off.

          The details of the program:
You earn points from purchases and prescriptions bought in Kroger.  You then get a discount at Kroger fuel stations and participating shell stations.

          • 1 point for every $1 you spend on groceries (before coupons).
          • 100 points for every $50 spent on gift cards (excludes Kroger & Green Dot cards)
          • 50 points for every prescription you fill (no points earned if you are using government sponsored health care)

Every region of Kroger handles Fuel Rewards a little differently, so check out your area for more details (note that the increase in savings won’t be updated until tomorrow).

          How to maximize your savings:
You earn points for buying gift cards, so buy Shell gas gift cards.  Earn points for your gas gift card, and then head to shell stations to use your card and use your fuel rewards!

I’m excited to share it’s official that Harris Teeter has finally joined the land of common sense and updated their coupon policy for coupons accepted on Buy One Get One deals.

Before this week, Harris Teeter was the only store in the South East that would only allow one coupon on a buy one get one deal.  Logically that made no sense since the items rang up at half price.  If you were buying 2 items that were B1G1, you could separate your order into two transactions and use two coupons, but had to use only one coupon if you bought the deal together.

Well, you may now use one coupon per item purchased!  No matter the sale.

One thing to note:  I would still expect to only get to use 2 coupons on a Buy 2, Get 3 Free Deal.  While they are coming up in the world, I doubt they can come that far…

Check out their official coupon policy for more information.

Many of you have reported this and I have confirmed it with corporate.

Starting today, Coinstar is kicking off a nationwide promotion to help you turn loose change into cash, free coupons and big deals.  Right now you can pour in $5 or more into any participating Coinstar machine and select to get your cash back in a Borders e-certificate for no fee!!  PLUS you also get a coupon for $5 off your next $25 purchase at Borders!

We love Coinstar Counting Machines and always get our change turned into gift cards rather than cash (it avoids any fee).  If you haven’t tried this yet and have small kids they will love it!!!  The machine is fun all by itself, and then they see that saving up all the nickles and quarters they find can turn into something really fun.

I want to encourage you to turn this into a summer reading challenge.  Encourage your kids to gather up all their loose change then get your gift card to Borders and a coupon.  Now let them get stocked up on amazing books to enjoy all summer!

I bet between the cushions of your couch and the floorboards of your card you can easily find $5 in spare change…

To help you get started how about a chance to win??

10 Readers will win a $50 Borders Gift Card!!

You have two ways to enter:

                  1. Go to Coinstar.com and find the Coin Counting Machine nearest you. Come back and tell us how close it is!

                  2.  Get an additional entry when you “like”Coinstar on Facebook.  Leave another comment that you did.

While this giveaway is sponsored by Coinstar, all opinions above are still 100% my own.
